Lord's Supper Remembrance Meeting

The Lord’s Supper Remembrance Meeting is a solemn time where we remember the life, death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We give honour to Him through collective prayer, praise and worship, observing His command to remember Him with the collectively shared bread and wine (1 Corinthians 11:24-26) by those who are members (or received as approved temporary visiting members) of the local church. Following the Lord’s Supper, there is a short time of Bible Teaching by one of the local or (previously approved) visiting brothers.

Prior to attending, please take time to read our Beliefs page regarding:

  • local church reception and observation

  • requests for visitors to bring letters of commendation where possible; and

  • our practices regarding the headship of Christ, shown practically within assembly gatherings

If you are brand new to learning about the Lord Jesus Christ and the Christian faith; while you are welcome to observe a Lord’s Supper Remembrance Meeting, we encourage you to attend a Gospel Meeting first. Details regarding the next Gospel Meeting can be found on our What’s On page.
